Overview:
HCi Valve, a leading provider of quality, innovative, and energy efficient hydronic balancing products for the HVAC industry, is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager. The person will be responsible for the growth of existing customers as well as the identification and security of sales from new customers.
Responsibilities:
· Manage sales of HCi products within a defined geographic area: West Coast
· Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment, and management of sales personnel
· Identify strategies, objectives, and action plans to improve short and long term sales and earnings
· Educate and direct sales personnel within sales representative agencies in order to drive sales in their area
· Call on contractors and OEM customers to close business
· Call on engineers to gain specifications for all HCi products
· Provide regular updates to management team regarding trends, opportunities, and challenges
· Lead each sales representative agency to meet and/or exceed monthly and quarterly quota objectives
· Drive accountability for the sales organization's performance to meet growth, revenue, and customer commitments and promote long-term customer satisfaction
· Produce tactical plans for attacking the market and make suggestions for product improvements and pricing programs to beat out any competition
· Develop sales targets for each sales representative agency that are challenging but reachable
· Relay and discuss sales targets with each sales representative agency and monitor progress throughout the year, offering regular feedback and guidance
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in business management, mechanical engineering, or similar fields
· Knowledge of HVAC systems, valves, and flow control products preferred
· Must have at least 5 years of regional or outside sales experience
· Must be able to work closely with and motivate sales representatives in order to facilitate a team effort to drive sales
· Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
· Proficient in MS Office Products
· Superior organizational, analytical, and time management skills
· Proficient in presenting product ideas at all levels
· Able to analyze and work through problems as they arise and communicate with Jomar staff
· Able to travel up to 60%
