About the role:
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial mechanical projects from initial planning and cost estimation through construction, commissioning, and final closeout. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in budgeting and scheduling, along with practical experience in industria/commercial HVAC.
Main responsibilities include:
- Direct commercial and industrial mechanical/HVAC projects from initiation through final completion.
- Align and manage all stakeholders, including on-site crews, subcontractors, estimators, vendors, and equipment providers.
- Track project budgets, workforce efficiency, overall job expenses, and staffing requirements.
- Maintain all project records, such as permits, submittals, RFIs, change orders, T&M logs, and closeout documentation.
- Supervise purchasing, negotiate costs, and monitor materials, equipment, subcontractor expenses, and delivery schedules.
This is a hybrid position in the Greater Phoenix Area, with great flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated track record overseeing commercial and industrial mechanical/HVAC construction projects.
- Skilled in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, Excel, and project management software.
- Solid financial expertise with capability to control strict budgets, complex schedules, and multiple concurrent projects.
- Constructive, solution-driven attitude paired with a strong commitment to safety.
- Outstanding written and spoken communication; able to engage professionally with clients, general contractors, site crews, and company leadership.
