Position Overview
The Branch Manager will lead and oversee all operations within the EMCS (Energy Management Control Systems) division for the Jacksonville market. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing financial performance, executing complex building automation projects, and developing high-performing teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep industry expertise and a strong track record in operations, project delivery, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Market Leadership & Strategy
- Serve as the primary leader and decision-maker for the EMCS division within the market
- Drive business growth through strategic planning, client relationships, and operational excellence
- Establish and maintain a culture of accountability, performance, and professionalism
Project Execution & Financial Management
- Oversee all EMCS project procurement, execution, and delivery
- Negotiate contracts, scope, and pricing to ensure profitability
- Develop and manage project budgets and financial forecasts
- Provide monthly reporting on cost-to-complete and overall financial performance
- Prepare and submit accurate billing projections
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain top talent
- Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development
- Partner with field leadership to drive productivity and accountability
- Recommend compensation adjustments based on performance and market conditions
Field Operations, Safety & Quality
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with field leadership to ensure successful project execution
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with electrical installation of HVAC control systems
- Strong expertise in estimating, sales, project management, and operations
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Experience with P&L management, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Demonstrated leadership experience in hiring, developing, and managing teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
