Summary
The Director of HVAC Service provides strategic and operational leadership for the commercial HVAC Service Department across two offices, overseeing approximately $12M in annual revenue. Reporting to the Division President, this role is responsible for driving profitable growth, operational excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction within a union environment.

Compensation & Benefits
- $150,000 annual base salary
- Performance-based bonus up to 25% of base salary
- $700/month vehicle allowance plus company-provided gas card

Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial HVAC service operations across multiple locations
- Manage and develop service leadership, including Service Supervisors and a Service Office Manager
- Own departmental financial performance, budgeting, and KPIs
- Partner with executive leadership on strategy and growth initiatives
- Standardize processes and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability
- Oversee manpower planning, technician utilization, scheduling, and fleet performance
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and union requirements
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing service leaders and union technicians
- Provide clear operational and financial reporting to executive leadership

Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in commercial HVAC service operations
- Experience managing P&L, budgets, and financial performance
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and service delivery
- Ability to implement processes, KPIs, and operational best practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs, as needed.
- Ability to climb ladders and access job sites, rooftops, and mechanical spaces on an as-needed basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout job sites, including walking up to approximately 5,000 steps in a workday.
- Ability to safely operate, or be trained to operate, forklifts and other equipment as required for the role.
- Ability to distinguish colors as required for safety, equipment identification, and diagnostics.
