HVAC Division Manager - Commercial Mechanical Services - Base Salary to 175k/year - Phoenix, AZ
- Our client, a growing commercial mechanical services company, is seeking an HVAC Division Manager to lead and oversee its HVAC operations in the Phoenix, Arizona area. This leadership role is responsible for managing the overall performance of the HVAC division, including project execution, financial oversight, team leadership, and operational accountability.
- The successful candidate will provide leadership to project management teams while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company and customer expectations. This position reports regularly to the Phoenix-area office and plays a key role in the continued growth and success of the HVAC division.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the HVAC division
- Manage and support project managers and other operational personnel involved in HVAC and mechanical construction projects
- Provide oversight of project budgets, cost control initiatives, financial performance, and operational efficiency
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timelines, budgets, and customer expectations are achieved
- Hold teams accountable for project performance, safety, quality, and operational objectives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support division growth and profitability
- Review project performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across project teams
- Support strategic planning, resource allocation, and overall business operations within the HVAC division
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience overseeing budgets within HVAC, mechanical construction, mechanical contracting, or related commercial mechanical operations
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical construction projects
- Experience managing project budgets, cost control initiatives, and financial performance
- Experience leading and developing project management teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and operational performance
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams while driving accountability and results
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 150k - 175k/year range
