Job Title: HVAC Estimator

Location: Boston, MA

Salary: $110K–$145K + Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical contractor based in the Greater Boston area, seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial projects across the Boston metro market.

We are looking for a well-rounded estimator with a strong mechanical background and experience pricing a wide range of HVAC work, including both piping and sheet metal systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling projects from initial bid review through final proposal submission.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial HVAC/mechanical projects

· Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents

· Perform quantity take-offs for HVAC systems, including piping and sheet metal

· Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing

· Analyze project scope and identify value engineering opportunities

· Prepare bid packages and pricing proposals

· Work closely with project managers and operations teams during handover

· Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients

Requirements:

· Proven experience as an HVAC Estimator within commercial construction

· Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation methods, and mechanical construction
