- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and system audits to ensure equipment operates within specification
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, optimizations, and system improvements
- Respond to incidents and emergency conditions, helping diagnose root causes and restore systems quickly
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activity, system performance, and issue resolution
- Partner with facilities, IT, and security teams to protect data center uptime
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and systems
- Assist with IT infrastructure tasks as needed (racking, stacking, cabling)

- Working understanding of:
- HVAC and cooling systems

- Mission-critical environments
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working in a high-availability, high-expectation environment
- Willingness to be on-call and work flexible hours as required
- EPA certification is a plus
- Prior data center or critical infrastructure experience strongly preferred
Why This Role Is Different
- Owner-operated data center (not colo, not outsourced FM)
- Direct exposure to infrastructure supporting real-time trading and high-performance computing
- Small, tight-knit team with close collaboration between engineering, facilities, and technology groups
- Emphasis on accountability, transparency, and doing things right the first time

- Long-term stability with a consistently profitable firm
