MEP Construction Manager - Hyperscale Data Centers (Texas, Hybrid)

Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 + Benefits

We are partnering with one of the leading Owner's Representative / Construction Management firms in the United States, renowned for delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure projects. With a strong footprint across mission-critical environments, this firm is a trusted partner for hyperscale data center clients nationwide.
Due to continued growth in the data center sector, they are seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to support the delivery of high-profile hyperscale data center projects in Texas.
The Role
As an MEP Construction Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scope on cutting-edge data center developments. You will act as a critical link between the client, contractors, and project stakeholders, ensuring delivery meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
This is a hybrid position, offering flexibility while maintaining strong on-site project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead oversight of all MEP construction activities across hyperscale data center projects
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure alignment with project goals
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks
- Ensure all MEP systems are delivered in accordance with design, specifications, and commissioning standards
- Conduct site inspections, progress reviews, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with client teams as a trusted advisor and Owner's Representative
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover of critical systems
- Champion health & safety compliance and best practices across all project phases
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data center construction (hyperscale preferred)
- 5+ years of MEP construction experience (mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing disciplines)
- Proven track record delivering large, complex mission-critical or data center projects
- Strong understanding of critical infrastructure systems (HVAC, power distribution, cooling systems, etc.)
- Experience working for an Owner's Rep, CM firm, or general contractor is highly desirable
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work both on-site and remotely in a hybrid environment
