Some of your responsibilities include the following:
- Create HVAC designs under the direction of the senior engineer and perform BIM drafting for a variety of projects to develop understanding of mechanical systems design.
- Ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assignments.
- Knowledge and experience with calculations, equipment selection, ductwork layout, piping layout and construction documents.
- Attend field visits, meet with clients and vendors.
- General coordination of specific design aspects into a project
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience designing HVAC systems in high performance facilities.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Working knowledge of Revit / BIM is required.
- Communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Background in either science and technology or academic sector is helpful
- Professional commitment to sustainability, LEED accreditation is a plus.

The total compensation that we expect to pay for this position is dependent on years of experience, licensure, education, geographic location, and project portfolio but expected to be in the $70,000 to $100,000 range.
