What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Review commercial blueprints and mechanical plans
- Perform accurate takeoffs and labor/material calculations
- Build competitive, profitable HVAC bids
- Work directly with vendors for equipment pricing
- Support project handoff to operations/project management
- Maintain organized estimating records and cost tracking
This is an ownership role — not just plugging numbers into a system.
What You Must Bring
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC estimating experience
- Strong blueprint/mechanical drawing interpretation skills
- Experience bidding commercial projects (TI, retrofit, or ground-up preferred)
- Strong Excel skills (non-negotiable)
- Experience with estimating software (FastPIPE, QuoteSoft, etc.) is a plus
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, split systems, ductwork, piping)
