Job Description:
The OEM & Aftermarket Sales Manager manages the operations of the OEM & Aftermarket Department including OEM & Aftermarket Sales Executives, OEM & Aftermarket Branch Salespersons, OEM & Aftermarket Sales Representatives, Warehouse Associates and Delivery Drivers. This position is responsible for meeting sales and gross profit goals by providing leadership, excellent customer service to foster positive relationships, while maintaining existing customers, and developing new customers. This dual role also sells HVAC equipment/parts and provides solutions to local companies and private individuals. This individual must have substantial knowledge of the items sold and the current company line card, while creating and maintaining client relationships to meet sales goals and company benchmarks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Recruits, develops, and coaches local OEM & Aftermarket Sales Executives, OEM & Aftermarket Branch Salespersons, OEM & Aftermarket Sales Representatives, Warehouse Associates and Delivery Drivers, as needed.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for all parts locations – from OEM & Aftermarket Parts and orders to credit card transactions to inventory management.
- Coordinates and communicates regularly with the General Manager – OEM & Aftermarket around inventory levels while managing overall annual budget.
- Conducts sales management and enables selling efforts as needed to obtain overall market goals.
- Establishes relationships with vendors and secures competitive pricing across all locations, including rebates, bulk buying at discount, etc.
- Keeps informed of new products, services, and general information of interest to customers and attends training.
- Regularly meet with product line reps and vendors for general information and education of new products.
- Directly responsible for Profit & Loss of the OEM & Aftermarket for a specific Team and/or region.
- Communicates with OEM & Aftermarket Sales Executives, OEM & Aftermarket Branch Salespersons, OEM & Aftermarket Sales Representatives, Warehouse Associates and Delivery Drivers regarding special orders.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly and annual region analysis.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Develops, mentors, and supervises all OEM & Aftermarket Sales Executives, OEM & Aftermarket Branch Salespersons, OEM & Aftermarket Sales Representatives, Warehouse Associates and Delivery Drivers directly in specific regions.
- Helps establish organization structure to include OEM & Aftermarket Sales Executives, OEM & Aftermarket Branch Salespersons, OEM & Aftermarket Sales Representatives, Warehouse Associates and Delivery Drivers including the hiring, training, and evaluation of the staff.
- Monitors overall staff performance to ensure jobs are being completed timely and in a professional manner putting the customer first.

Experience and Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of field sales experience; HVAC industry and parts knowledge required.
- 3-5 years’ management experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, etc. This role requires an intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe. FACTs experience is a plus.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for 40 percent of the time while operating their computer and performing office work. The employee frequently travels in a vehicle. The individual needs to move about inside the office and at customer locations. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 20 pounds showing merchandise. They constantly operate computers and other office productivity machinery, such as calculators, copy machines, fax machines, and computer printers. The individual must be capable of reviewing their work for errors and adjusting as necessary.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. The individual normally works in a controlled climate but can be subject to temperature variations from showroom or office setting to warehouse.
