The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will drive sales growth, channel development, and market penetration across the Northeast region. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong industry knowledge, established relationships in the building automation, HVAC, or energy management sectors, and a passion for delivering value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Build and manage relationships with mechanical contractors, system integrators, consulting engineers, and end-users.
- Identify new business opportunities and manage full sales cycles from lead generation to close.
- Conduct product presentations, solution demonstrations, and project scoping discussions.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering, technical support, and marketing teams.
- Maintain accurate forecasts, CRM updates, and competitive intelligence.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience in building automation, HVAC controls, smart building technology, or related industries.
- Strong technical understanding of BAS platforms, controls architecture, and energy management systems.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within a defined territory.
- Existing regional network of contractors, integrators, and engineers preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the Northeast region up to 50%
