General Manager – Industrial Boiler Parts & Service Operations

About the Role
We are working with a leading industrial boiler solutions provider to hire an experienced General Manager (GM) to oversee operations at their Las Vegas location. This role is ideal for a proven leader with strong experience in boiler parts sales, customer service, and operational management.
The GM will guide and develop a high-performing team, strengthen customer relationships, drive sales growth, and ensure operational excellence across the business unit. This individual will champion a safety-first culture and play a key role in nationwide growth and strategic expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all business unit operations with a focus on boiler parts sales growth, customer service, and team performance.
- Create a culture centered on safety, quality, employee engagement, and strong financial results.
- Oversee staffing needs: hire, train, mentor, and retain top talent.
- Set performance expectations, conduct reviews, and support employee development.
- Engage directly with customers to prospect, expand accounts, and close new business, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Evaluate and improve business processes; ensure KPIs align with organizational goals.
- Review operational indicators (safety, quality, order activity, fulfillment, etc.) to measure performance and progress.
- Participate in monthly performance reviews and provide analysis on results, gaps, and improvement plans.
- Ensure annual operational and financial objectives are achieved.
- Perform additional duties aligned with senior leadership direction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA is an asset).
- Strong understanding of the boiler, HVAC, or industrial services sector, particularly within parts sales.
- 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience within sales or operations.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth, support customer retention, and lead high-performing teams.
- Experience managing P&L, developing KPIs, and executing against financial/operational targets.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Skilled in hiring, coaching, and developing employees; strong focus on safety and engagement.
- Experience leading process improvements and organizational change.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience (IFS or ADP is an asset).
- Strong financial acumen, communication, and negotiation skills.
