Project Manager – HVAC/Mechanical Systems
Location - Stratford, CT
Salary range - $100,000 – $130,000
Our prestigious client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical system and piping installation projects from concept through closeout. In this role, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
- Manage HVAC/mechanical and piping projects from design to field installation and completion
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and scheduling to ensure efficient project execution
- Maintain strong communication with clients, contractors, and field teams
- Prepare accurate project estimates and support the sales process
- Lead and develop a skilled team of installers, sheet metal workers, plumbers, and pipe fitters
- Oversee project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, purchase orders, and job files
- Drive continuous improvement and uphold strict safety standards
- Collaborate with leadership to support companywide planning and operations
What You Bring
- 5+ years of HVAC, mechanical, or plumbing/piping experience
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); PM software experience a plus
- Deep knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment
