Brand Development Manager
Location: Houston, TX, One open position in Dallas as well
Position Overview
A leading national distributor in the HVAC and building products industry is seeking a Brand Development Manager to lead growth initiatives, strengthen dealer partnerships, and expand market presence across the region. This position requires a hands-on leader who can blend strategic planning, sales enablement, and marketing execution to drive measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an annual business and growth plan aligned with company and divisional objectives.
- Design recruitment and incentive programs to attract and retain high-performing dealers.
- Create and manage training initiatives that enhance dealer performance and promote key manufacturer partnerships.
- Oversee pricing strategies and ensure competitive positioning within the market.
- Build and maintain business intelligence tools to track dealer engagement, sales activity, and performance.
- Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to optimize product offerings, inventory mix, and promotional campaigns.
- Partner with leadership on territory optimization, regional events, and dealer development strategies.
- Plan and facilitate dealer recognition programs, advisory boards, and engagement activities to strengthen relationships and drive loyalty.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new Territory Managers across major metro areas.
- Organize annual regional meetings, training events, and incentive programs to align teams and motivate performance.
- Represent the organization at industry trade shows, conferences, and partner events.
- Drive initiatives aimed at increasing regional sales volume and market share.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or brand management, preferably within HVAC, building materials, or wholesale distribution.
- Strong knowledge of technical products and channel sales.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM or BI tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to build long-term dealer relationships.
Additional Details
- Full-time position with travel to dealer sites, regional branches, and industry events as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform duties in both office and warehouse environments.
