We’re looking for a dynamic North American Sales Director to lead a high-performance sales team and drive growth through strategic distributor engagement and market expansion.
This senior role offers the opportunity to shape sales strategy, build strong industry partnerships, and deliver impactful results across North America for an industry leading manufacturer. Hybrid position, based in the St. Louis, MO metro area, ~50% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and motivate a national sales team to exceed revenue and profitability goals.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that expand market share and strengthen distributor networks.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within manufacturing, commercial, retail, service and repair, warehousing, construction, and other related markets.
- Partner with Marketing to create effective promotional campaigns and outreach strategies to target cross-selling opportunities.
- Foster collaboration across all functional areas to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Currently within commuting distance or willing to relocate to the STL metro with a hybrid schedule split between travel, remote work, and the company’s location. Travel up to 50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field required. MBA a plus.
- 10+ years of proven success in technical or industrial sales, including experience leading regional or national teams.
- Strong strategic mindset with a record of building and executing growth-focused sales plans.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
- Industry experience in industrial/commercial HVAC, industrial manufacturing strongly preferred.
