We’re looking for a dynamic industrial Sales leader with deep distribution channel experience to drive a high-performance sales team, channel partner growth, and market expansion of a growing, industry-leading product family.
This person will shape sales strategy and reinforce industry partnerships across the US and Canada while collaborating with Marketing and Operations to maintain top market position. Hybrid role, based in the St. Louis, MO metro area, ~50% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to exceed revenue and profitability goals.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that expand market share and strengthen distributor networks.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within manufacturing, commercial, retail, service and repair, warehousing, construction, and other related markets.
- Partner with Marketing to create effective promotional campaigns and outreach strategies to target cross-selling opportunities and foster collaboration across all functional areas to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Identify opportunities for upselling/cross-selling within current customer and distributor base, drive top positioning of all products with channel partners.
Qualifications:
- Currently within commuting distance or willing to relocate to the STL metro with a hybrid schedule split between travel and the company’s location. North American travel up to 50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field required. MBA a plus.
- 10+ years of proven success in industrial sales strategy and management, including leading a geographically disbursed team, selling to stocking distributors, and managing rep agencies. Industrial/commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred.
- Hands-on approach and strategic mindset with a record of building and executing growth-focused sales plans, penetrating new markets, cross-selling, and increasing opportunities with existing customer base.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with operations, marketing, and key leadership to drive market position.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
