What We Are Looking For
We’re seeking a results-driven General Manager to lead our business operations, drive growth, and ensure excellence across all departments. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with a proven track record in manufacturing, operations, and cross-functional leadership who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability across all departments.
- Lead and mentor department heads, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve company growth goals, including expansion into new markets.
- Work closely with the sales team, including the Sales Engineer, to align technical capabilities with customer needs.
- Manage P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking to ensure financial targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety, industry, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to advance product development and custom solutions.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners to support long-term success.
Preferred Qualifications & Knowledge
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration controls, or industrial automation.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-department teams and over 15+ direct reports.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial controls, HVAC/R systems, or safety monitoring equipment is a strong plus.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfort working alongside engineering and sales engineering teams on hardware/software integrations and custom control systems.
- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and operational metrics.
- Systems Expertise: Experience with ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite preferred) and data-driven decision-making.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Mindset: Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for operational excellence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
