About the Opportunity
Insight Global is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for a leading equipment rental client. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and developing high-performing regional sales teams within a specialty solutions rental environment. This leader will work closely with branch teams to execute regional strategy, win large-scale commercial-construction projects, strengthen customer partnerships, and improve overall sales effectiveness. The ideal candidate combines strong sales leadership with operational awareness, financial acumen, and the ability to influence teams across multiple locations.

Must-Haves
- 5+ years of sales leadership, branch leadership, district leadership, or regional leadership experience
- Experience managing sales performance across multiple locations, territories, or teams
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and presentation skills
- Experience managing KPIs, forecasting, budgets, and business performance metrics
- Proven ability to develop strategic customer relationships and support large revenue-generating projects
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial and operational performance
- Ability to travel throughout the region (up to 75%)
- Valid driver's license
Plusses
- Equipment rental industry experience
- HVAC, Climate Control, Power Generation, Industrial Services, Construction, or Specialty Rental experience
- Former Outside Sales Representative, Technical Sales Representative, or Sales Manager experience
- Experience with Salesforce, CRM reporting, Power BI, or sales analytics tools
- Multi-site operational leadership experience
- Experience managing large fleets, assets, or project-based customer engagements
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop aprox. 20 Outside Sellers across the region to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Partner with branch leadership to drive consistent sales execution across the region
- Support large customer opportunities through strategy development, proposal reviews, and project planning
- Conduct regular branch visits, customer meetings, ride-alongs, and sales training sessions
- Track sales performance, pipeline activity, forecasts, and key business metrics
- Review major opportunities and provide guidance on pricing, positioning, and competitive strategy
- Develop relationships with strategic customers and key decision-makers throughout the territory
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service and project execution
- Participate in regional business reviews, planning sessions, and leadership meetings
- Foster a strong culture centered on safety, accountability, performance, and employee development
Base Salary:$102,014-119,782 /yr
+ Incentive performance plan (25%-75% of salary)
