We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of large-scale modular data center infrastructure. This role will focus on mechanical systems, piping design, cooling infrastructure, and client-facing engineering support for hyperscale and AI data center projects.
Responsibilities:
- Review and approve mechanical and piping drawings, calculations, and engineering deliverables.
- Design and support piping systems, cooling systems, fire suppression systems, and mechanical equipment.
- Perform or review pipe stress analysis and provide technical guidance during manufacturing and construction.
- Prepare technical requisitions, equipment specifications, MTOs, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer design reviews.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, NFPA, ASTM, OSHA, and other applicable industry standards.
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering (PE License preferred)
- 3–15 years of mechanical engineering experience
- Experience with piping systems, HVAC/cooling systems, and industrial mechanical equipment
- Strong knowledge of pipe stress analysis and mechanical design
- Experience with CAESAR II, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar engineering tool
- Data center, mission-critical, industrial, or EPC project experience preferred
