Overview
Picture your week starting with a walk-through on a downtown high-rise, moving to a campus energy review, and wrapping with a proposal meeting where you help a facilities team modernize their building automation. As our Enterprise HVAC Solutions Account Director, you will win and grow commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts by building trust with owners, facility managers, and management companies—while also deepening relationships with existing customers.
You will sell maintenance agreements, retrofit work, small tenant-improvement projects, energy-efficiency solutions, and building automation/controls to both executive and technical stakeholders.
What a typical day looks like
- Prospect and qualify new opportunities, then plan and execute sales calls across Hillsborough County.
- Cold call targeted organizations to open doors and secure discovery meetings.
- Walk facilities—roofs, mechanical rooms, and critical spaces—to understand system conditions and needs.
- Scope and estimate service contracts, repair quotes, and retrofit projects aligned to technical specifications.
- Negotiate terms and craft detailed proposals for C-level leaders and technical buyers.
- Nurture long-term relationships that lead to multi-year agreements and ongoing growth.
What you bring
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service sales experience (required).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to commute throughout Hillsborough County.
- HVAC mechanical understanding (preferred) and a Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Comfort presenting to executives and engineering teams alike.
- Readiness to work in person and engage on-site with clients.
