Are you a strategic leader who thrives on driving results, building teams, and delivering exceptional service? We’re seeking a General Manager to oversee business operations, shape long-term strategy, and inspire excellence across our HVAC, Plumbing, Drains and Electrical divisions. This is a high-impact leadership role with full P&L responsibility, where your decisions will directly influence growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
As General Manager, you’ll set the vision, lead operations, and ensure our teams consistently meet performance, safety, and quality standards. You’ll balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution, guiding managers and frontline teams to deliver outstanding service while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations and long-term business planning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with customer expectations. Establish and uphold operational standards for efficiency, safety, cost control, and quality workmanship.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve branch sales targets. Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns and promotions that will grow business.
- Drive financial performance by forecasting revenue, monitoring gross profit, and holding teams accountable for results.
- Build strong customer, contractor, and supplier relationships, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Oversee workforce planning, training, and resource allocation to meet service demand.
- Manage assets, including fleet, inventory, and equipment, ensuring accurate records and responsible use.
- Analyze data and dashboards, identify trends, and implement improvements to reduce costs and increase sales.
- Inspire, mentor, and develop leaders and frontline employees, creating an inclusive environment where people feel valued and motivated to perform at their best.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in distributed field service, construction, or manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or another skilled trade industry strongly preferred.
- Proven success managing budgets, operations, and people in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Knowledge of field service principles and practices including service price/hour estimation, labor forecasting, technician dispatching, etc., is required.
- Strong knowledge of service operations, workforce scheduling, residential sales practices, and project management. Proficiency with business software; experience with dispatch/ERP tools such as ServiceTitan is a plus.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.

Work Environment
- The physical environment requires this employee to work in an office environment, warehouse environment, customer locations, and frequently outdoors. Frequently required to use and promote use of personal protective equipment to prevent injury.
- Occasional travel may be required for training, meetings, or customer visits.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
