Mechanical Senior Estimator
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Senior Estimator to lead the development of accurate and competitive cost estimates for large-scale commercial construction projects. This role evaluates HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes from conceptual design through final bid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for projects typically exceeding $20M.
- Analyze drawings and specifications to develop comprehensive pricing.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals.
- Collaborate with preconstruction and operations teams on design-build and plan/spec pursuits.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks.
- Participate in client presentations and post-bid negotiations.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of mechanical estimating experience on large commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Bluebeam.
