Role Description
The Senior Commercial HVAC Estimator / Business Development role is a full-time, on-site position based in Orlando, FL. The primary responsibilities include estimating costs for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems in commercial projects, preparing proposals, and fostering client relationships to grow business opportunities. The role also involves managing project budgets, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring that estimates align with project requirements. A strong focus on accuracy, relationship management, and strategic planning will be key to success in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, and piping system design and cost estimation
- Experience with project management and budget planning
- Strong interpersonal and business development skills to foster and maintain client relationships
- Analytical skills to assess project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates
- Knowledge of the HVAC industry standards, codes, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in estimation software or tools relevant to HVAC and commercial construction projects
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and meet project deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role within the HVAC industry is an advantage
