Seeking a Project Manager for a client of ours based in NYC. You will not be involved in design work as it is outsourced. The role will be a mix of managing the development of projects along with coordinating the designs with other architects, engineers, and contractors. You will operate remotely and only be required on-site when needed for project walk-throughs.

Responsibilities -

Manage projects from schematic design through construction
Perform field surveys and site assessments to verify existing conditions
Coordinate designs with architectural, electrical, structural, and specialty teams
Assist in developing project schedules and tracking deliverables
Review submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs during construction
Participate in client meetings and project coordination sessions
Support QA/QC reviews to ensure code compliance and design accuracy

Qualifications -

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
4+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical building systems design
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit; experience with load calculation software
Understanding of building codes, ASHRAE standards, and local NYC requirements
Ability to read detailed mechanical plans and documentation
Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams
Experience supporting construction administration tasks (RFIs, submittals, site visits)
EIT or progress toward PE licensure preferred
