Seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light-commercial heating and cooling systems. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent customer communication, and the ability to work independently in the field. Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits • Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, inspections, and safety checks • Use testing instruments to evaluate refrigeration pressures, electrical components, combustion efficiency, and airflow • Provide clear explanations of issues, repair options, and system performance to customers • Document findings, parts used, recommendations, and work performed • Respond to dispatched service calls promptly and maintain professional communication with office staff • Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in proper working order • Follow all safety procedures, codes, and best practices Qualifications: • Experience as an HVAC service technician (residential or commercial) • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration principles • EPA 608 and OSHA 10 certification • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work in tight spaces, attics, and basements • Strong customer service and communication skills • Comfortable using mobile apps for work orders and job documentation Preferred Experience: • Minimum 3 years maintenance experience • Experience with high-efficiency equipment, boilers, hydronics, or advanced controls • NATE certification • Familiarity with service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, Housecall Pro)
