Job Summary
Here at My Jockey we are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to providing high-quality service. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties.
Duties
Install HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters to diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
Collaborate with team members to complete installations in a timely manner.
Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide solutions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all installations and repairs.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding HVAC systems.
Qualifications
Proven 3-4years experience in HVAC installation as a technician or 5 years as a lead technician.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.
Familiarity with refrigerant handling and HVAC/R systems is essential.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
Commitment to ongoing professional development in the HVAC industry.
Must have worked for a prior HVAC company.
