Job Summary
As Product Manager, you will serve as the steward of your assigned product portfolio, guiding each offering through its complete lifecycle—from ideation and development through commercialization, optimization, and eventual retirement. This role is vital to RectorSeal’s success and requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution.
This is a
product manager role deeply embedded in product development and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will steer products from concept through commercialization, integrating strategic planning with tactical execution in close collaboration with engineering, supply chain, marketing, sales, quality, finance, and production teams. This hybrid, salaried position requires an office presence 3 times per work week. The work schedule is as follows: Monday through Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
What will you do?
- “Full ownership of product from concept to end-of-life”
- “Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, supply chain and manufacturing”
- “Translate customer and market needs into scalable and manufacturable product solutions”
- “Ensure product design aligns with production feasibility and supply chain resilience.”
- “Lead stage-gate processes and ensure documentation readiness for scale-up”
- “Manage product modifications, continuous improvements, and cost optimization initiatives”
- “Actively promote products and cross sell opportunities with internal and external customers”
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or related degree
- Experience with JD Edwards, PowerBI, and Akeneo
Required Experience
- Associate degree or higher-level degree
- 3+ years working in a Product Development or Product Management role, with a passion for customer experience and an ability to demonstrate a proven track record of identifying new opportunities or solving pain points based on customer insight and data.
- Knowledge and working experience in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC markets
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and TEAMs
- Must be available for at least 15% - 20% domestic travel, possibly international

Compensation: RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
