About the Role
As a Commercial HVAC Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the project construction processes. You’ll be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring accurate pricing for new projects.
What You’ll Do:
🔹 Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine scope of work.
🔹 Conduct site visits to gather data on project conditions and constraints.
🔹 Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, considering materials, labor, and equipment.
🔹 Develop comprehensive bid proposals outlining scope, cost breakdown, and key qualifications.
🔹 Solicit quotes from vendors and subcontractors, maintaining strong supplier relationships.
🔹 Identify/assess risks that could impact project costs and propose risk mitigation strategies.
🔹 Collaborate with project managers, architects, and sales teams to refine estimates and ensure alignment with project goals.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ 2+ years of experience in HVAC estimating.
✔ Proficiency in estimating software's.
✔ Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation abilities.
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
