Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience with quantity surveying in the data center space.
Preferred qualifications:
- RICS/SCSI/AIQS chartered or affiliated.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships, with a demonstrated understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry, including design processes, procurement, and work package planning.

The Commercial and Program Controls (CPC) organization is a collection of estimators, schedulers, commercial strategists and project controls managers who plan, design, and construct the most efficient data centers in the world.
The Lead Cost Estimator requires a comprehensive skill set centered on data center estimating, program management, and construction planning. Beyond core estimating, you will use your proficiency in data analytics and change management to maintain cost certainty and provide clarity for executive decision-making. This role demands high standards in commercial management, including the ability to manage General Contractor (GC) commercials, external consultant deliverables, and should-cost benchmarking to align with global standards.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and update all data center construction cost estimates for ongoing and new data center projects as well as providing data analytics regarding those estimates for the region.
- Own cost estimates/cost plans, cost benchmarking, communications and manage meetings and deliverables as the point of contact between the project teams and the estimating team.
- Ensure adequate support and budget for project consultant estimators.
- Work closely with the Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Scheduling, Security, Networking and Operation teams ensuring all cost data developed meets project requirements.
- Manage Consultant teams and report directly to the Regional Estimating Manager and work with the Program Estimating team to ensure alignment within Global Standards and Governance.
