Ferretti Search is proud to partner with a leading home services provider to locate a General Manager for a San Diego location. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving operational performance and building scalable infrastructure across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service lines.
Title: General Manager – Home Services
Location: Northern San Diego. A generous and flexible relocation package will be provided upon start.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: ~225K [Comp flexible, based upon candidate needs]
- Bonus: 50% Bonus based on quarterly gross margin & year-end-EBITDA
- Equity: Included and payable upon liquidation event.

- In-Home Services Operator: You’ve led teams in residential or commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or a related skilled trades / services category
- Operational Leader: You know how to run the full P&L, drive install efficiency, manage seasonality, and scale operations
- Manager-of-Managers: You’ve directly led department heads across service and administrative functions
- Builder & Stabilizer: You’ve implemented systems, KPIs, and processes to restore and scale performance
- Growth-Oriented: You’ve expanded revenue - not just maintained the status quo
- Talent Developer: You’ve built leadership benches and promoted from within
- Financially Fluent: You make decisions based on gross margin, labor efficiency, and EBITDA impact
