Job Description
We are searching for an experienced Sales Leader to lead our Technical Solutions sales team throughout the Atlantic South. The mission is to continue to develop the existing sales culture, along with the growth and management of an existing book of business. This Sales Leader will have the ability to see the “big picture” on how sales and operations work together to create a winning sales/service culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven and successful sales management record with a thorough knowledge and demonstrated achievement and success in a high-ticket intangible/service, and “conceptual” sales.
Who Will Be Successful In This Role
This role is ideal for a sales leader who has led, coached, and scaled B2B sales teams selling HVAC, mechanical, or technical service solutions. The successful candidate brings both sales leadership experience and enough mechanical or technical fluency to confidently engage customers, coach reps in the field, and partner closely with operations.
Pay: $145,000.00-$155,000.00
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities
- Directly lead, coach and develop a regional sales team of BDMs and Account Managers.
- Own sales performance pipeline health, forecasting accuracy and rep accountability.
- Conduct regular ride alongs, deal strategy sessions, and performance coaching.
- Under the direction of the Director of Sales, you will lead the Sales Team to drive business by executing sales strategies to achieve profitability, growth and market penetration.
- Develop and direct the b2b sales team in new business development and account growth by selling bundled facility solutions to commercial facility building owners in the local market.
- Lead, hire, develop, and train a sales team of successful outside sales representatives.
- Support and guide staff during the sales process – from start to finish.
- Develop infrastructure solutions for lighting, electrical, and maintenance offerings to serve client needs.
- Work closely with the branch General Manager, Regional Director of Sales to help drive results and continuously develop your leadership skills.
- Manage financial sales reports, annual planning, and quarterly forecasting.
- Accompany sales representatives on customer appointments to drive sales.
- Assist sales staff in building financial and life cycle analyses to quantify value from the customer’s perspective and generate and deliver impactful proposals that lead to signed contracts.
- Coordinate with operations in the branch location to ensure the customer’s needs are achieved.
- Conduct weekly one-on-one performance reviews with each sales member.
Required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of five (5) years proven outside sales experience selling commercial service offerings and/or solutions that focus on Mechanical HVAC maintenance, repair, replacement, controls, building automation, or adjacent mechanical service solutions (such as BAS, controls, energy services, or technical facility systems).
- This role requires significant regional travel (50–70%), especially during the first year, to support sales reps, customers, and branch partners.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree, but additional experience in facilities solutions sales management will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Candidates do not need to be former technicians, but must be comfortable walking job sites, discussing mechanical solutions, and coaching sales teams on technical offerings.
- Experience leading sales teams selling service agreements, maintenance contracts, or retrofit solutions.
- Experience partnering closely with operations, service managers, or field technicians.
- Player coach leadership mindset, with experience building and motivating sales teams focused on new business development and account growth.
- Demonstrated record of success in selling services and leading in service selling to commercial customers.
- Self-disciplined, results driven, and accustomed to winning sales awards through consistent high performance.
- Financial acumen and experience selling business solutions to building owners or C-Level.
- Strong leadership and team building qualities required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (or other CRM).
