Position Overview
We are currently seeking an
HVAC Service Sales Representative. The HVAC Service Sales Rep is critical to the overall growth and profitability of the HVAC Service business. The candidate chosen will be responsible for initiating, establishing, building, and maintaining profitable service relationships between new customers and FirstCall Mechanical.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and close retrofit project opportunities within assigned territories
- Leverage established industry relationships to generate new business and expand existing accounts
- Maintain and grow an existing book of business with repeat clients
- Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure customer needs are met from proposal to project completion
- Conduct site visits, assessments, and presentations to support sales opportunities
- Stay current on HVAC/mechanical service trends and solutions to effectively position offerings
- Understand the customer's business and speaks their language
- Review and finalize proposals with prospects and secure their commitment to the FirstCall Mechanical solution
- Conduct customer kick-off meetings, resolve customer issues, create pull-through opportunities, maintain service agreements, extend service agreements and support the collections process
- Keep management informed of progress and account status using BuildOps tool and other means
- Develop and implement territory marketing plans consistent with the FirstCall Mechanical business strategy
Accountabilities
- Continual learning and development in the body of knowledge through FirstCall Academy, to ensure we set the bar for skill level in the industry
- Elite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the FirstCall our customers make for their HVAC & Refrigeration needs
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
This position reports to the local Sales Manager and has a responsibility to the entire service team and all of our customers.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5–7 years of experience selling or working in mechanical services
- Proven success in retrofit project sales
- Strong, existing relationships in the industrial and/or medical markets
- Experience selling service and maintenance
- Exposure to sales methodologies, standards, and disciplines.
- Knowledge of Building HVAC Systems

Environmental Requirements
Will be required to work in a field environment, multiple customer sites on a daily basis.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
