Job Description
iGas USA is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our facilities, equipment, and production systems. The ideal candidate will continuously assess and improve operational processes, manage a skilled maintenance team, and ensure that all systems meet quality, safety, and performance standards. This role requires strong analytical abilities, leadership, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment, machinery, and building systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facilities, utilities, and production systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Lead, mentor, and manage maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight to ensure a high-performing team.
- Analyze workflows, processes, and equipment efficiency to identify opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and operational optimization.
- Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Escalate and address any operational or safety issues promptly to minimize business impact.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party services, including contract negotiations, to ensure timely and cost-effective support.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and training programs to maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
- Support cross-functional teams with maintenance expertise to facilitate operational planning and project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience overseeing maintenance operations, heavy machinery, or production systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or industrial systems.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
