We're partnering with a leading, employee-owned MEP contractor to identify an HVAC Senior Service Manager to lead and grow their service operations. What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Lead and manage a team of service technicians and field supervisors, providing coaching, direction, and day-to-day operational support
- Drive operational performance by monitoring key service metrics, technician productivity, labor efficiency, and overall business results
- Partner with senior leadership to execute business strategies, achieve revenue goals, and support continued growth within the service division
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service, timely communication, and successful project execution
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and disciplinary actions while fostering a positive, high-performance culture
- Review technician productivity, work orders, and timesheets to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and accountability across the team
- Support business development efforts by identifying service opportunities, assisting with proposal development, and helping maximize prefabrication opportunities where applicable
- Provide technical guidance to customers and field teams while assisting with invoice resolution, accounts receivable support, and escalated service issues
- Lead safety initiatives by conducting monthly safety meetings, performing field observations, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with all company, state, and local safety regulations
- Participate in the manager on-call rotation and provide leadership support during after-hours service operations
What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience within commercial HVAC service operations, with progressive leadership responsibilities
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, service processes, and applicable building codes
- Proven experience leading and developing field service teams while driving operational performance and customer satisfaction
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage revenue goals, productivity metrics, labor efficiency, and overall service performance
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a collaborative management style
- Experience managing hiring, employee development, and performance management
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
- Applicable licenses, certifications, or registrations as required by the position
