HVAC Manager/Service Tech for company that handles service work and site maintenance for national accounts.

HVAC Estimator Job
Lane Valente Industries is looking for a HVAC Estimator to join our team.
Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors.
Become proficient with all product offerings, estimating, and e-commerce software tools.
Create quotes and respond to inbound queries and requests.
Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products.
Review mechanical drawings for incoming quote requests.
Understand scope of HVAC work to bid.
Communicate with the engineering department on new and current projects.
Prepare job take offs.

Requirements:

Knowledge of commercial HVAC / Mechanical Contracting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to negotiate effectively.
Knowledge of bidding software.
Strong organizational skills, flexibility and ability to prioritize work assignments.
Ability to develop budgets and time lines.
Multi-tasker and Organized.
Commutable to Staten Island.
Great customer service and a team attitude.
Attention to detail an asset;
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC estimating;
Works well on own or in a team environment;
Self-starter with strong work ethic;
Knowledgeable in building and construction.
