About the job:
Kent is looking for an HVAC Commissioning Technician to verify the correct installation and coordinate the startup, testing and commissioning of HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-commissioning verification and commissioning activities of HVAC Automation Systems.
- Responsible for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of HVAC Automation System.
- Support commissioning of HVAC equipment like Screw/reciprocating Air cooled liquid chillers, Cooling towers, AHUs, VAV's, Package/central splits, FCU, chemical dosing pump & Ozone Generators etc.
- Conduct chilled water system commissioning and balancing using flow meter chilled water piping flushing procedure and chilled water chemical treatment.
- Perform commissioning of BMS & HVAC electrical Control systems, Air distribution systems commissioning & Air balancing using micro manometer & Pitot tube etc.
- Coordinate with team leader and customer to precisely understand the commissioning requirements for all on-site installation.
- Maintain all relevant records pertaining to pre-commissioning and commissioning and ensure that the activities are carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards.
- Perform commissioning reviews of HVAC, controls and electrical plans and specifications.
- Under general supervision, conduct preventive maintenance, repair and general service of HVAC (including detailed troubleshooting of system).
- Perform submittals reviews and prepare commissioning test forms and equipment checklists.
- Perform together with HVAC Engineers and Vendors field inspections, equipment start-ups, test and balance activities, and functional performance tests.
- Prepare daily commissioning reports and maintain commissioning issues lists.
- Prepare and open Permit to Work (PTW) as per commissioning schedule and Client, Vendor requests.
- Manage assigned work to meet HSE requirements, professional execution of time and customer satisfaction.
- Engage, mentor, support and motivate local staff in their development and integration into the positive values and culture within the group.
- Provide opportunities and guidance that enable the transfer of learning into effective practice for local staff and their managers.
- Assess the skills, values and knowledge of new and current staff against the standards that apply to their role to devise individual, sector and service development plans.
- Provide learning opportunities related to the assessed needs of staff including induction and induction mentorship and continuing development opportunities, regularly reviewing and evaluating their experiences over their employment journey.
- Maintain standards of HSE and comply with Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System requirements.
- Take reasonable care of one’s own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
- Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

| Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: |

Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:
- At least 5 years’ experience in operations, mechanical, electrical or I&C commissioning.
- Minimum 5 years in commissioning experience in HVAC Equipment’s.
- Experience in installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and operation on oil field of large size heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems comprising of chillers, HVAC equipment’s, cooling towers, piping and building management system, etc.
- New construction commissioning including LEED required.
- Strong HVAC and/or mechanical backup.
- Good communication and relationship building skills.
- Ability to execute a detailed and integrated Start-up process and plan.
