ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Read and understand plans and specifications.
· Create material list from drawings. Installs and starts-up equipment, meeting deadlines and performing basic troubleshooting.
· Complete start-up checklists, pre-functional checklist, system readiness checklist, etc.
· Create daily job tickets.
· Participate in weekly Tool Box Talks; perform work safely (will complete OSHA 10-hour)
· Miscellaneous tasks and duties as assigned.
· Manage all aspects to record work information on service tickets.
· Diagnose correctly HVAC issues on Chillers, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Compressors, Pumps, CRAC units, Heat pumps etc, with minimum supervision.
· Manage information for parts, equipment, and history
· Other tasks as necessary

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / LICENSES REQUIRED
· Basic working knowledge of HVAC controls and electrical wiring.
· Must have all basic hand tools
· 2 years + of experience required
· Willing to work weekends and on-call rotation when required.
· Must be able to troubleshoot/diagnose issues with the water source heat pumps. Strong working knowledge of installation of HVAC (chw and refr) piping, HVAC equipment startup.
· Knowledge of VRF, VVT’s and VAV Systems a plus.
