About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to drive growth within our HVAC and mechanical services business through direct client relationships and strategic account development.
This role is focused on building long-term partnerships with commercial building owners, operators, and decision-makers to generate recurring maintenance, service, retrofit, and capital project opportunities. Unlike traditional bid-driven HVAC sales positions, this role emphasizes consultative selling, business development, and lifecycle value creation.
The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional who thrives on developing new business, building trust with clients, and creating sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and secure new commercial HVAC service relationships with building owners and owner-direct clients
- Identify, pursue, and close maintenance agreement opportunities
- Generate ongoing service and repair revenue within assigned accounts
- Identify retrofit, upgrade, and capital project opportunities across client portfolios
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with property owners, facility managers, and operational stakeholders
- Maintain an active sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and relationship development
- Position the company as a trusted advisor by delivering value-driven HVAC and mechanical solutions
- Collaborate with internal operations and service teams to support successful client outcomes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management
- Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities independently
- Comfortable engaging with senior-level commercial stakeholders and decision-makers
- Highly self-motivated with strong organizational and pipeline management skills
- Ability to think strategically and develop long-term client partnerships
Preferred Experience
Experience within the HVAC, mechanical, or building services industry is strongly preferred, particularly in:
- Commercial HVAC service sales
- Preventive maintenance agreements
- Mechanical retrofit projects
- Capital equipment or facility improvement projects
