Kelso Building Services is seeking a proven
HVAC sales professional to drive new business across the
Denver metro area. This is a
high-accountability, field-based role focused on developing commercial service and project revenue in a competitive market.
This position is best suited for a
true hunter—someone who is comfortable building a book of business from the ground up and selling into
facility management, property management, and industrial clients.
What You’ll Do
- Generate new revenue through cold calling, door-to-door prospecting, and territory development within the Denver market
- Conduct technical site evaluations and recommend HVAC service and system solutions
- Build and maintain a robust, self-generated pipeline—this is not a lead-driven role
- Develop and present accurate, competitive proposals for service agreements and project work
- Partner with internal operations teams to ensure precise scoping and successful delivery
- Sell and expand preventative maintenance agreements and long-term service contracts
- Consistently hit or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
- 2+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical sales experience
- Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and closing net-new business
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, service models, and project sales cycles
- Ability to self-generate opportunities without reliance on inbound leads
- Comfortable selling in a competitive, relationship-driven market like Denver
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily within the territory
Preferred
- Established relationships with Denver-area facility managers, GCs, or property managers
- Experience selling service agreements, retrofits, or capital equipment replacements
- Familiarity with local market pricing, competition, and buying cycles
