Job Title: HVAC Estimator (Commercial)
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay: $95,000 – $125,000 per year + bonus
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Commercial HVAC Estimator to support bidding and preconstruction for a strong pipeline of commercial projects. This role works closely with operations and leadership to develop accurate, competitive bids and support project planning.
Responsibilities:
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform HVAC takeoffs and assist with estimate development
- Prepare pricing for labor, materials, and equipment
- Work with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes
- Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities
- Support bid proposals and project handoff to operations
- Attend pre-bid meetings and occasional site visits
- Assist with change orders and project support as needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of HVAC experience (HVAC estimating)
- Basic understanding of commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to read or learn construction drawings and specifications
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills
