HVAC Service Technician at our Stilwell, Kansas location.

What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent equipment failure by cleaning air handling systems and reheat coils, monitoring and calibrating air handling systems and replacing filters, motors, fans, belts, etc. on systems.
- Locate and diagnose problems, assess the extent of repairs, and describe options and associated costs to the customer.
- Provide a description of diagnosed problems to customer in terms that can be understood with options, as possible.
- Assist with repairs of complete systems to include repairing, calibrating, or replacing controls, switches, thermostats, transformers, gauges, wiring fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, piping, and other functional components of the system.
- Complete all required documentation on services, explain guarantees/warranties and records.
- Install, repair, replace, or clean refrigerant lines, fans, appliance vents, smoke detectors, humidifiers and grills, as appropriate.
- Ensure that all HVAC repairs and installations are accurate, serviceable and that materials used meet the requirements and safety standards/regulatory codes.
What You Bring
- Willingness to travel to branch for work, the branch location is in Stilwell, KS!
- 2+ years of residential HVAC experience.
- HS Diploma/GED (EPA Certification preferred).
- EPA Certificate (Preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Physical Requirements And Work Environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (furnaces, ductwork, and materials).
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching in tight spaces (attics, crawlspaces).
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and climb ladders safely.
- Ability to work comfortably in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
