An exciting Sales Director in the building construction/materials manufacturer industry has just become available at one of the most reputable international companies. This is a role for someone who has strong sales in the construction or HVAC sector.
About the Sales Director role:
In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the business and responsible for identifying new business opportunities within the assigned countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and business development for the assigned portfolio and region across Asia Pacific
- Lead and coach the sales team
- Take ownership of booking number and revenue targets across customer in Asia Pacific region
- Drive strategic planning, initiatives and implementation
- Collaboration with internal teams to achieve regional sales targets
- Identify and appoint new channel partners/distributors across the assigned region
To succeed in the Sales Director role, you will need strong sales experience in construction/HVAC or relevant sector.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in the relevant sector
- Master/Bachelor’s degree in business management or related discipline
- Proven track record in sales in HVAC / industrial / construction / heavy equipment sector
- Prior team leadership/management is preferred
- Commercially focused with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders at different professional level
