A leading company in the plumbing & HVAC industry is seeking a General Manager to lead operations and drive business performance. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background in service operations and team management. Working collaboratively, the new leader will grow the business by executing strategic initiatives while ensuring operational efficiency and a strong customer experience.

Responsibilities:
- Full sales, support and operational responsibility for the entire center(s).
- Design, implement, and execute annual budgets and strategic plans.
- Develop and drive new programs, revenue streams and marketing strategies to meet and exceed sales and profitability goals.
- Establish an organization wide culture of accountability focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and phenomenal business results.
- Provide the overall vision and strategy to the greater team and develop a high performing team of engaged, and motivated employees and a spirit of interdependent, cross functional collaboration.
- Consistently administer company policies, processes and procedures throughout the center(s)
- Monitor and maintain job satisfaction and development plans among personnel by completing annual performance evaluations and salary reviews in a thorough and timely manner.
- Prepare business forecasts, budgets, and other reports in addition to monitoring the timely flow of paperwork and tasks necessary to the center.
- Recruit, select, and train all employees.
- Proactive analysis of data to identify trends and issues. Quickly implement corrective actions plans.
- Continuous improvement and optimization of the center to provide quality services, complete tasks, and otherwise execute in an efficient manner.
- Maintain a working knowledge of competitors, develop innovations to maintain market lead, and share best practices with other Leaders.
- Partner with local management and personnel to maintain best practices for safety and sales-generation in the field.
- Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekend as required.
- Responsible for performance management of center management and staff.
- Directly supervise field and office personnel, as assigned.
- Carry out management and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Plan, assign, and direct work of staff.
- Manage performance, rewards and discipline of employees.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years leading teams servicing B2C & B2B customer markets
- Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully leading a fast-paced service organization and a proven track record of growing a business
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and 4 to 6 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding revenue objectives
- Five (5) years related experience and/or training or, equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experienced and knowledgeable in operation processes associated with the installation and/or service of Plumbing, HVAC systems, and turnkey projects
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills. (Oral and written)
- Ability to self-start and motivate a group of individuals to act as team towards a common goal
- Analyze cost and forecast data to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
- Build a team culture by recruiting, motivating and training the staff
