Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC / MEP)

We’re working with a well-established commercial & industrial mechanical contractor in the Greater Hartford, CT area that is actively looking to add a Mechanical Project Manager to their growing team.
This is a great opportunity to take ownership of HVAC/mechanical projects from start to finish, working on both new construction and renovation work.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Manage HVAC/mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning
- Handle submittals, RFIs, change orders & project documentation
- Coordinate with field teams, subs, and clients
- Lead meetings and keep projects on track (cost, schedule, quality)
- Support procurement, takeoffs, and buyouts
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with a mechanical contractor / MEP firm
- Background in HVAC, piping, or sheet metal projects
- Strong understanding of commercial/industrial building systems
- Experience with submittals, RFIs, scheduling & project coordination
- Proficiency with MS Office (Procore/Bluebeam a plus)
- Degree is a plus, not required
