A client of Insight Global in the thermal solutions industry is looking to hire a Business Development Manager specifically for their HVAC division. This individual will sell EC fans and air-moving solutions into HVAC OEMs, system integrators, and equipment manufacturers. They will turn HVAC system needs into clear proposals, quotes, samples, and validation plans, then drive design-ins from concept through mass production. Day to day, the ideal candidate will coordinate closely with the Asia-based R&D, applications engineering, and manufacturing teams to keep projects, builds, and schedules on track. This person will own the accounts, the pipeline, the forecast, and the close. HVAC and EC fan industry experience is strongly preferred; Mandarin/English bilingual skills are a plus.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in HVAC, EC fans, motors, or air-moving products in business development or technical sales
- Based in Central or Eastern U.S. with regular travel to customer sites (up to 40% of the time)
- Experience selling into OEMs (original equipment manufacturer)
- Comfortable coordinating across time zones with Asia-based engineering and manufacturing teams
Compensation:
$90,000 to $120,000 per year annual salary.
