We are hiring a Commercial HVAC Estimator to support our Construction, Retrofit, and Service Sales teams. This role is responsible for reviewing bid opportunities, performing detailed HVAC take-offs, and building accurate, defensible price estimates.

What You’ll Do
- Review commercial HVAC opportunities through bid boards, public agencies, and internal sales leads
- Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents
- Perform detailed HVAC take-offs using digital estimating software (STACK or similar)
- Build complete cost estimates (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, general conditions)
- Develop scope narratives, assumptions, clarifications, and exclusions
- Support service, retrofit, and construction sales teams with pricing strategy
- Assist with bid/no-bid decisions
- Track bid deadlines and organize documentation
- Attend job walks and pre-bid meetings as needed
- Participate in post-bid reviews and project turnover meetings
- Help improve estimating templates, systems, and processes
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of HVAC, mechanical construction, field, service, or estimating experience (more for senior-level consideration)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience performing take-offs (digital take-off software preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
