Role Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Estimator/Project Manager for a full-time position based in the New York and New Jersey. This on-site role involves preparing cost estimates, project scopes, and timelines for mechanical systems, as well as managing project lifecycles from inception to completion. Responsibilities include collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams, conducting site inspections, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget. Attention to detail and effective communication are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Mechanical Engineering and experience in system design and implementation.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for creating and reading technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Maintenance practices and Inspection processes in mechanical systems.
- Experience with automotive or related mechanical equipment is an advantage.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications or a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field are preferred.
