Woods & Co is partnered with a prestigious private members club in Manhattan as they seek an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and presentation of a high-end, member-facing environment.
The club operates at the intersection of hospitality, service, and discretion, requiring a facilities professional who understands that reliability, standards, and attention to detail are critical to the member experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across the club
- Manage building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety
- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and emergency repairs
- Manage third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Ensure compliance with NYC building, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Support club operations during events and peak service periods
- Partner with club leadership on upgrades, improvements, and long-term planning
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in facilities or building management
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Background in hospitality, private clubs, luxury venues, or high-end commercial environments
- Strong knowledge of building systems and regulatory compliance
- Hands-on, proactive, and calm in a live operational environment
- Flexible to support non-standard hours when required
