POSITION OVERVIEW
The company is seeking a Regional Vice President – New England to lead and scale its New York and New England platform. This is not a single-branch role. It is a newly created regional leadership position responsible for the financial, operational, and commercial performance of 5–6 operating companies across the region.
The Regional Vice President will have full P&L ownership, direct oversight of branch presidents and senior leaders, and clear accountability for revenue growth, margin expansion, operational consistency, and talent development. This leader will be expected to drive top-line growth, strengthen customer relationships, and build a scalable regional operating model.
This role is ideal for a senior HVAC or mechanical services executive who has successfully led multi-branch or multi-market operations and thrives in a private-equity-backed, growth environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Regional Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the New England region as a unified operating platform, aligning multiple branches under a consistent strategy and operating cadence
- Serve as the senior executive for the region, representing the organization with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Translate enterprise objectives into clear regional priorities, execution plans, and measurable outcomes
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
- Own regional revenue performance, including organic growth, customer retention, pricing discipline, and cross-selling of services
- Partner with branch leadership and sales teams to strengthen go-to-market strategy and deepen key customer relationships
- Identify and execute market expansion opportunities, including new service lines, customer segments, and geographic growth
Financial & P&L Ownership
- Full P&L responsibility across all branches in the region, including revenue, margin, EBITDA, and working capital performance
- Lead annual regional budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes
- Monitor and improve operational and financial KPIs, driving accountability at the branch level
Operational Excellence
- Drive consistency and scalability across estimating, project management, service operations, safety, and back-office execution
- Identify performance gaps across branches and implement corrective action plans
- Partner with corporate support teams to ensure strong execution in accounting, HR, safety, and systems
Talent Leadership & Culture
- Lead, coach, and develop Branch Presidents and senior leaders across the region
- Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and operational discipline
- Ensure effective succession planning, leadership development, and bench strength
M&A Integration & Platform Growth
- Support acquisition integration and onboarding of new operating companies into the region
- Ensure cultural alignment, operational integration, and achievement of post-acquisition performance targets
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Achievement of regional revenue, margin, EBITDA, and cash flow targets
- Safety performance and compliance across all branches
- Customer satisfaction, retention, and brand reputation within the region
- Leadership development, retention, and performance of branch-level executives
QUALIFICATIONS
- Senior leadership experience in HVAC, mechanical services, or related construction/service industries
- Proven success leading multi-branch or multi-market operations with full P&L responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, not just operational stability
- Strong financial acumen, forecasting skills, and KPI-driven management style
- Experience operating in a private-equity-backed or growth-focused environment preferred
